CMUS principal investigator Ignacio Soto will give the lecture “Challenges of Music Research in the Global South” at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Ljubljana next Wednesday, December 10. This is part of the Weekly International Lecture Series commemorating the retirement of Dr. Svanibor Pettan, professor and dean of Ethnomusicology at the university.

This is an invitation from the Department of Musicology of the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Ljubljana, the Slovenian Folk Cultural and Ethnomusicological Society, and the Slovenian Music Information Center.
