Three members of CMUS at the Latin American Congress of Aural Studies
The Latin American Congress of Aural Studies will take place between June 24 and 26 at Universidad Mayor and the Museum of Pre-Columbian Chilean Art. Three members of CMUS will participate, presenting their work.
Andrea Chamorro, principal investigator at CMUS, will give the presentation: “Flows and Affecting Vibrations: Notes for the Ecology of a Danced Listening”; Martín Luit, postdoctoral researcher at CMUS with Camila Juárez, will present “Aural Processes in Experimental Radio Practices in Buenos Aires in the 1990s.” Finally, Elisa Montecinos, a thesis student at CMUS, will present on “Walked Archives: Listening and Performative Memory in AppRecuerdos.”
