On Thursday, June 12, and as part of Estudos de Som e Música, Bea Medeiros presented the article “It will never be difficult to be and remain: challenges and experiences of women in Brazilian musical production.” This work is part of a study that the CMUS postdoctoral researcher conducted with Melina Aparecida dos Santos Silva (UFF) on women producers in the Brazilian music industry. The activity was part of the Congresso da Associação Nacional dos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Comunicação in Brazil. Compós is one of the most important communication studies events in Brazil. On this occasion, the work and possible developments in music and communication were discussed.
