The conference “Music, Migration, and the Exchange of Knowledge between Spain, North America, and Latin America” ​​was held on April 22-23 at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. University scholars Alberto Hurtado, in which Lorena Valdebenito, and Daniela Fugellie participated.

The CMUS senior researcher presented the paper “Between Spanish Exile and Musical Pan-Americanism: Toward a Conceptualization of Neoclassicism in Chile” as part of a panel organized by the International Network of Researchers/Trajectories, of which she is one of the founders. She also conducted research at the New York Public Library, the Library of Congress in Washington, and the University of Maryland.
