The call for papers for the 2nd Musicology Symposium ULagos 2026, “The Role of Communities in Musical Research and Creation,” is now open. The symposium will take place on October 28 and 29, 2026, at the University of Los Lagos. Sponsored by CMUS, among other institutions, it seeks to bring together researchers, composers, performers, cultural practitioners, and producers, among other stakeholders, to discuss the role of local actors in musical research and creation processes, including actions related to giving back and communicating results.
