On December 31, 2024, the journal Transcultural de Música was published, containing the Rap in Action Dossier. It was co-edited by Sebastián Muñoz, associate researcher at CMUS, and Constanza Abeille. Both authors also wrote the article “Rap in Action” as an alternative to reposition resistance.

The opening statement reads as follows: “This dossier was created with the intention of presenting a perspective on rap, from the perspective of social sciences and contemporary musicology, through an approach that has so far been considered a minority in Latin America and Spain. The conceptual umbrella we propose to organize the texts compiled here is that of “rap in action.”
