The CMUS principal investigator will give a lecture on &#8220;Screen\/Video Dance and Anthropological Imagination: Notes on the Arts of Correspondence.&#8221;  <\/span><\/p>\n<p>The abstract presented by the CMUS principal investigator reads as follows: &#8220;Following the trajectories of anthropology and cinema as devices for understanding the &#8220;Others&#8221; of modernity\/coloniality, this article problematizes audiovisual representations of the body and corporalities associated with the ethnographic study of indigenous and popular performances.
