They wrote the introduction to the document. This dossier was the result of the working group &#8220;50 Years Since the Coup.&#8221; The dossier contains the following articles: &#8220;Conversations about &#8216;El pueblo unido&#8217;: Towards an Alternative Memory of the Fifty Years&#8221; by <strong>Eileen Karmy<\/strong> and <strong>Mart\u00edn Far\u00edas<\/strong>; &#8220;New Approaches to V\u00edctor Jara Fifty Years After His Death&#8221; by Daniel Party; and &#8220;Music of the Chilean Exile: Memories and Textile Creation&#8221; by Laura Jord\u00e1n and Javier Rodr\u00edguez.   <\/p>\n<p>Javier Rodr\u00edguez and Eileen Karmy wrote the following in the introduction: &#8220;The dossier &#8216;Musical Commemorations of the Fiftieth Anniversary of the Coup d&#8217;\u00c9tat&#8217; emerged from the &#8217;50 Years&#8217; working group of the Millennium Nucleus in Musical and Sound Cultures (CMUS1), which met regularly from the beginning of 2023, with Daniela Fugellie, Laura Jord\u00e1n, Eileen Karmy, Daniel Party, Javier Rodr\u00edguez, and Elisa Montecinos, who joined later. This working group initially sought to bring together researchers studying music and politics to reflect on the commemorations of the Chilean coup d&#8217;\u00e9tat through musical expressions.
