The event was part of the second edition of the cultural gathering “Hip-Hop on the Open Sea,” which, according to its organizers, seeks to “open a space for learning, exchange, and collaboration among participants, as well as to foster open dialogue on the issues and challenges facing the hip-hop community.”

To the 1st Interdisciplinary Meeting on Sound and Listening Studies in Chile, where scholars from various Chilean institutions will discuss issues related to the links between sounds and their listening processes.
The intersections of these two phenomena will be considered, with themes such as city and urbanism, nature, listening cultures, cultural identities, governance, soundscapes, memory, conservation, education, among others.
